This collaboration will combine automation, restoration science, and digital monitoring to advance the recovery of seagrass meadows, one of the world’s most valuable and threatened marine ecosystems. Through this partnership, Robocean and DigyCorp aim to: - Integrate subsea robotics with MRV and Digital Twin technologies for streamlined restoration and impact tracking - Deliver scalable, verifiable restoration aligned with global environmental and climate goals - Collaborate on pilot projects, knowledge sharing, and stakeholder engagement to demonstrate effective nature-based solutions - Develop data-backed restoration models for coastal communities, governments, and climate finance initiatives Seagrass meadows are vital for biodiversity, carbon storage, and coastal protection, yet are disappearing at an alarming rate.
