We’re continuing to invest in the future of our workforce through our Early Careers programmes at Network Plus. 👷♀️ This week saw our first Apprenticeship Assessment Centre for Apprentice Water Operative roles across the North West, alongside the launch of our Graduate Programme assessment centres in Birmingham - with Manchester and Bristol to follow. 🎓 Across both programmes, we’ve met highly engaged candidates showing real enthusiasm and potential for careers in the utilities sector. These programmes will deliver 78 new graduate and apprentice starters this year alone, marking a significant shift in how we approach early careers recruitment going forward. A huge credit to the wider Learning and Development team and the recruitment team for delivering a fantastic set of sessions, with apprenticeship training support provided by 3t | Training. We’re proud to have been shortlisted for Customer Initiative of the Year at the Water Industry Awards 2026. 🏆 This recognition reflects our collaborative approach in action. Our Gas and Water teams across the North West have come together in Wigan to deliver a dual scheme, laying both gas and water pipe simultaneously with support from PGL Pipelines. The programme is centrally managed by Network Plus on behalf of United Utilities and Cadent.
