It’s Global Accessibility Awareness Day! I'm participating by doing what I love most: running accessibility workshops for L&D clients. Why does this get me so fired up? Because I get to teach, and those lightbulb moments people have when accessibility finally clicks? Genuinely one of the best parts of my job. And because the conversation is changing. More teams are thinking about accessibility from day one, and being part of that change means a lot to me. Here's the thing: designing accessibly isn't a constraint. It's a better way of working. It pushes teams to think more clearly and more intentionally about what they're creating. Most accessibility problems don't come from bad intentions. They come from busy teams, fast-moving processes and issues that go unspotted. Which is exactly why everyone involved in a project needs to understand their role. Want to know more about accessibility workshops? Reach out to us at Mint! And check out our latest blog post on my Learning Technologies seminar on accessible design to see how I approach this in practice. Here's the link: https://lnkd.in/e7Vsh_MY

“How do we design this so it already is accessible?” At Learning Technologies Exhibition & Conference this year, Gemma Nunn explored why accessibility works best when it shapes the learning experience from the very beginning - not as something added on at the end. The session covered: • Why most accessibility issues come from early design decisions • The importance of POUR principles • The common design habits that exclude learners without realising • What small changes can you make straight away to improve accessibility We’ve captured the biggest insights from the session in our latest blog 👇 https://lnkd.in/eky7CPhV

What if SCORM could do more than you first thought? At Learning Technologies Exhibition & Conference this year, Wesley Atkinson explored how AI can help you unlock the knowledge already sitting inside your existing learning content - without starting from scratch. If you want a recap, or missed the session, we've captured the biggest takeaways in our latest blog. Check it out here 👉 https://lnkd.in/euGQjVbk Or if you'd like a demo of the tools Wes showed, book here 👉 https://lnkd.in/ePQsiR_y
