Events: World Meteorological Day & World Climate Day are being held on the March 23, 2026 World Climate Day is a day to focus on the urgent need for climate action and to engage communities in addressing climate change challenges. This year’s theme for World Meteorological Day is, Observing Today, Protecting Tomorrow, is a call to action. Governments, development banks and the private sector must scale up support for our global observing backbone, from surface stations to satellites, and ensure data is shared openly and equitably. And we must accelerate Early Warnings for All so that, by 2027, every person is protected by life-saving alerts. Investing in observation pays many times over – strengthening peace, security, resilience and sustainable development. https://lnkd.in/gEFSRAFu #WorldMeteorologicalDay #WorldClimateDay #climatechange #climatecoachingpsychology

#YouTube Premiere at 12:45 BST on Thursday 9th October, 2025 Invited Congress Paper: Reframing the Entrepreneurial Experience: A Coaching Psychological Perspective on Well-being and Distress with Christin Tan (Singapore) Entrepreneurship, while celebrated for innovation and autonomy, presents a more complex reality fraught with psychological strain, emotional volatility, and health risks. The positivity bias within entrepreneurship discourse and education often valorises traits like resilience and grit, thereby obscuring psychological demands such as burnout, anxiety, and isolation. This creates an information asymmetry, leaving aspiring entrepreneurs unprepared for the emotional and structural burdens they may face. Entrepreneurial activities differ significantly from conventional employment, lacking boundaries between work and personal life, requiring constant emotional labour, and unfolding in highly uncertain, resource-constrained environments, thus posing biopsychosocial risks beyond financial ones. This virtual Congress will be held over 5 days and offers Masterclasses and workshops from 6th to 9th October, and Keynotes and Invited Speaker Presentations on 10th October where the facilitators and speakers will bring us up-to-date with the theory, research and practice of coaching psychology.
