More than 400 students in Limbe are building essential digital skills through a hands-on bootcamp designed to introduce them to the basics of digital learning in a safe, technology-friendly environment. Led by Nervtek, the bootcamp provides children with foundational knowledge in using digital tools while reinforcing core skills in reading, writing, and numeracy. The sessions take place at the Smart Solar E-Container built by UNICEF with the support of IHS Towers, offering learners an engaging space where technology enhances learning and confidence. To support the delivery of the bootcamp, over 20 teachers from four schools in Limbe participated in a 3-day intensive training supported by IHS Towers, ensuring they are well-equipped to accompany learners and sustain digital learning beyond the bootcamp. This initiative reflects strong collaboration between UNICEF, the Regional Delegation of Basic Education, Nervtek, and IHS Towers, working together to advance inclusive, innovative, and future-oriented education—so every child can thrive in an evolving digital world. #ConnectMySchool #DigitalInclusion #DigitalLiteracy #ForEveryChild

André destacou a importância do acesso à internet contar com infraestrutura robusta, estável e com capacidade adequada, que permita o uso real da conectividade no dia a dia das pessoas. Sem isso, a tecnologia corre o risco de ampliar desigualdades em vez de reduzi-las. IHS Côte d’Ivoire recently handed over a fully constructed, furnished, and equipped annex building to the Maman N’Zi Nursery in Grand-Lahou, a childcare facility dedicated to the protection of young children. The new facility benefits children aged 0 to 5 years by providing a safe, healthy, and child-friendly environment that supports their well-being and development. The project was delivered in two phases: the construction of the main structure in 2024, followed by the finishing of works and furnishing the living, learning, and resting spaces in 2025. This initiative originated from a solidarity action led by the women of IHS Côte d’Ivoire during 2024 International Women’s Day, reflecting IHS’ continued commitment to going beyond connectivity and addressing core social needs within local communities. #sustainability #education #cotedivoire #BeyondTheTowers
