We were proud to be one of the sponsors of the Step Forward Summit, hosted by AllBright last week. The annual event brings together an inspiring community of women to mark International Women’s Day, with a focus on gender equality, professional growth and providing actionable advice on a range of topics, from health and wellness to financial wellbeing.   A highlight of the day was hearing from Dr Gosia Bowling, Head of Face to Face Mental Health at Bupa, speaking on the main stage about women’s health and longevity. Gosia shared valuable insights on the critical role mental health and emotional wellbeing play in supporting good long-term health for women. The panel sparked an important discussion around how we support women to thrive, not just professionally, but physically, mentally and emotionally.   Huge thank you to the Allbright team for organising such an insightful and engaging event, and inviting us to be apart of it!

Our Bupa By You Comprehensive cover has been named the Best Health Insurance Policy 2026, receiving a 5‑star rating from myTribe Insurance Experts following their expert and impartial review. This year’s assessment was one of the most rigorous yet - examining six categories and combining product features with real customer experience. We topped two categories outright and shared first place in two others. The judges highlighted the consistency across every area of our health insurance, and the breadth of benefits that customers genuinely value. I’m grateful to our teams across Bupa for the work they do every day to support our customers. https://lnkd.in/e8Y9fZJf

We were proud to join AllBright last week for The Resilient Mind: A Leaders’ Dinner on Modern Wellbeing - a powerful conversation about what it truly means to lead with wellbeing first. With insights from Emma Harris (CEO of Glow London), along with Bupa’s expert Gosia Bowling (Head of Face to Face Mental Health) and Host Louisa Lawrence (Head of Product for Mental Health), we explored: 💠 Resilience vs endurance - and recognising when to reset 💠 How leaders can genuinely thrive, not just push through 💠 The additional pressures women face in senior roles 💠 The role leadership behaviour plays in building healthier cultures Thank you to everyone who contributed to such an energising and important discussion. When leaders prioritise their own wellbeing, they help create stronger, more sustainable workplaces. As we expand Bupa Mindplace, with 70 new mental health spaces opening across the UK in 2026, conversations like this matter more than ever.

Three years ago, John was unexpectedly diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes after experiencing feelings of tiredness he initially dismissed. He suddenly had to learn how to monitor his blood sugar and inject insulin up to five times a day. But he also learned something bigger: the importance of taking symptoms seriously and talking openly about what they might mean. Today, John shares his health story to raise awareness and encourage others to listen to their bodies and seek support sooner. Because talking about symptoms early can make all the difference. #LetsTalkHealth

Together with Earthrise Studio, we’ve worked with filmmakers and creators from around the world to highlight the crucial connection between our health and the planet's health.   Through unique perspectives, Planet Health Stories explores themes of hope, movement, access to green spaces, mental health and community. By sharing these films, we hope to spark conversations and help people feel empowered to engage and act. In the last of our Here's What You Missed series from the Bupa Symposium 2025, All Blacks Legend and mental health advocate Sir John Kirwan shares his thoughts on the importance of ensuring mental health support is accessible to all. We asked him how dedicated spaces can help people open up, challenge stigma, and take a more preventative approach to wellbeing. This week, we brought together a group of inspiring storytellers, filmmakers, content creators, and climate advocates to showcase the power of storytelling in connecting our health with the health of the planet.   Led by actor and climate advocate James Norton and documentary filmmaker and Earthrise co-founder Alice Aedy, the evening celebrated Planet Health Stories – a partnership between Bupa and Earthrise Studio to commission stories from around the world which help remind us that we’re a part of nature, not separate from it.   The way we move, eat, breathe, live and connect is linked to the natural world, and access to green and blue spaces is essential for our physical and mental health.   Here are some of the highlights from the evening and you can watch Planet Health Stories here: https://shorturl.at/qkbX4
