  • Earlier this week, Holly Scott from our Customer Success team visited Jade Pearson and Annie Clarkson-Hutton at Severn Trent Academy to spend time with the team and see their apprenticeship provision first-hand. It was a genuinely impressive day. Ofsted have recognised Severn Trent's apprenticeship programme as Good overall, with Outstanding for personal development, and it is easy to see why. Over 100 apprenticeship opportunities have already launched in 2026 as part of their biggest recruitment drive yet, with a clear commitment to social mobility, career change and building skills that serve both communities and the environment. Most striking was the learner experience itself. The facilities, support infrastructure and overall environment are clearly designed to help people thrive, build confidence and develop long-term careers. We are looking forward to the next stage of this partnership, starting with the rollout of our AI-powered enhanced reviews feature to drive greater engagement, insight and impact across the programme. Thank you to Jade, Annie and the whole Severn Trent Academy team for such a warm welcome. We look forward to seeing what you achieve in the future. #Apprenticeships #FurtherEducation #EdTech #SkillsDevelopment #SocialMobility

  • We recently held a practical webinar on managing assessment in Aptem Apprentice. You can watch the full session online, covering how to move assessment and end-point assessment (EPA) tracking out of spreadsheets and into a single, integrated record - from gateway readiness and mock assessments through to certification and quality reporting. If your teams are currently managing registration data in one place and results in another, this is a practical look at how a more joined-up approach works in practice. • Ofsted's 2025 inspection framework has shifted the expectations on apprenticeship providers. Compliance is still the baseline, but inspectors now want to see evidence of impact, inclusion and learner progress across the full journey. Our ebook looks at what this means in practice, how your apprenticeship management system should be supporting you, and how Aptem aligns to each area inspectors will explore. 👇Download the ebook to learn more: #Apprenticeships #Ofsted #FurtherEducation #EdTech #ApprenticeshipQuality

  • Good apprenticeship delivery doesn't happen in a vacuum. Providers need more than a platform - they need a partner who understands their context, tracks their progress, and helps them get more from their system over time. Aptem's Platinum Service Package is built around exactly that. Annual tenant audits, bespoke training, monthly service reviews, and a named Customer Success Manager - all designed to keep providers aligned with best practice as their delivery evolves. • The 2026/27 apprenticeship funding rules bring some of the most operationally significant changes the sector has seen in several years. Aptem has been monitoring the changes, and platform updates are already in development, targeted for June to July 2026 ahead of the August start date. Read the article or watch our recent webinar to learn what the changes mean for your teams, and how Aptem is responding. 👉 https://lnkd.in/ey5CEdKP #Apprenticeships #FurtherEducation #EdTech #SkillsDevelopment #ApprenticeshipFunding

  • 🏆 The Aptem customer excellence awards were created to recognise real effort and real leadership across our customer community. The implementation excellence award, presented at aSpire 2026, went to Mario Colapietro, who coordinated training, kept pace with evolving requirements, ensured governance and data migration documentation was contractually aligned, and backed every key decision with evidence throughout. A successful go-live is rarely just a technical achievement, it takes true leadership. Congratulations, Mario. #Apprenticeships #EdTech #excellence

  • 🏆 In just over a year, a small team at University of Sunderland went from using Aptem for ILR submissions alone to having every apprenticeship programme at the university live on the platform - over 22 programmes, with multiple pathways and amendments. The Aptem customer excellence awards were created to recognise real leadership and real outcomes for learners across our community. At aSpire 2026, University of Sunderland received an adoption accelerator award - and what stood out in their nomination was something harder to measure than programme numbers. Through close engagement with learners, the team identified apprentices experiencing difficulties - including those facing personal and mental health challenges - and made sure the right support was put in place. Technology used well doesn't just make processes more efficient. Sometimes it helps us spot people who need that vital extra support. Congratulations to Amanda Corbitt Val Munday and the whole team at the University of Sunderland. #Apprenticeships #EdTech #excellence #awards

  • AI strategy is moving fast. Not everyone knows which tools to reach for, or why it matters. Next week, join Aptem's Chief Product Officer, James Love, for a practical webinar on navigating the AI tooling landscape - understanding the distinction between different types of AI models, and how to use them well together. 🖥️ The critical distinction: understanding the opportunity of different AI products 📅 Thursday 28 May ⏰ 11:00am - 12:00pm In this session, we'll cover how to: ✔ Understand the difference between large language models (LLMs) and classification AI. ✔ Identify where each type of model belongs in your organisation's workflows. ✔ Build a risk-based AI strategy that includes knowing where AI should not be used. ✔ Design an AI tooling landscape where tools strengthen each other rather than duplicate. Whether you're responsible for AI planning at an organisational or team level, or simply looking to work more effectively with AI day to day, this session will help you better understand AI tools that support apprenticeship delivery. 👉 Register here: https://lnkd.in/ekpHdDyX #Apprenticeships #EdTech #FurtherEducation #SkillsDevelopment #ArtificialIntelligence #AIStrategy

  • 🏆 The key to successful change is to build processes with people in mind, putting them at the heart of the transformation. The inaugural Aptem customer excellence awards celebrated the organisations and individuals who represent the very best of what our community is capable of. The change champion award went to someone who demonstrated exactly that - inspiring teams, navigating complexity, and ensuring new ways of working delivered real benefits for apprentices, staff, and stakeholders. At aSpire 2026, that award went to Victoria mcqueeney, Apprenticeship Quality Lead at Tyne Coast College. She brought together employers, assessors, and colleagues with very different levels of familiarity with Aptem - and then went further, sharing her experience with other colleges going through the same journey. That generosity with hard-won knowledge is what the spirit of aSpire is built on. Congratulations, Victoria. #Apprenticeships #FurtherEducation #awards
