Delighted to share highlights from a productive visit by a UNESCO delegation, led by Regional Advisor for Communication and Information, Ms. Misako Ito, to Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) earlier this year. The courtesy call aimed at strengthening partnerships and exploring new avenues for collaboration in media and communication. Our team, led by Deputy Managing Director Mr. Maurice Mugisha, warmly welcomed the delegation and provided an overview of UBC TV's ongoing activities and initiatives. Key discussions centered on exciting potential areas of cooperation, including; -Capacity building for journalists -Advancing media development -Promoting cultural diversity through inclusive media programming.
