Origin of the name Twotrees

To understand the origin of the name Twotrees, it helps to know a bit about Native American naming traditions. Among the Plains Indians, names are often inspired by nature and chosen to reflect a person’s traits or characteristics.

Twotrees was founded in the grassland plains of Kansas, a region defined by its vast open spaces and sparse tree coverage. During the Westward Expansion, pioneers traveling across the plains would often remark that they could journey for days and see only two trees.

This imagery inspired the name Twotrees, symbolizing a unique presence in an expansive, often barren landscape. Similarly, when it comes to IT services on the plains, there’s only Twotrees.
