The challenge for Good Move? Perception.

They needed to cut through the noise of quick cash buyer companies and show they’re a trusted, regulated solution. Put simply, they needed to grow trust.

Questionable tactics from their previous agency weren’t helping. Good Move needed to do things properly. HUB was a natural choice – they’d already seen growth under the guidance of our team in previous years, and they wanted to build on that momentum.

Good Move is a small team, so growth needed to be manageable. Better qualified leads, steady growth, and incremental sales. Brief understood.

Solution

We got stuck in straight away.

For content and SEO, we went back to basics. The Good Move site had a wealth of content, but it wasn’t providing value to users or helping with SEO. It risked being seen as spam – and it needed to go.

We stripped things back, removing and redirecting low-quality content and rebuilding with a structured approach. Watered-down, repetitive blogs and landing pages became singular, rich, informational guides covering high-search-volume topics in depth. Alongside this, we added content that created trust within an industry with a reputation problem. About Us and Meet The Team pages showed the humans behind the brand. Review pages increased credibility. We showed potential customers – and Google – that Good Move are trustworthy.

Our Digital PR team did what they do best. Links and coverage in the likes of Evening Standard, Sky News, The Express, and iPaper? Secured. We sent link equity to key campaign pages while getting the Good Move name out in the press.

Paid social had previously been managed in-house, but with no design team, creative was limited. Our paid team and designers got to work. We mixed up the creative and tested a broad range of ad formats – video, carousel, collection ads – alongside themes such as testimonials, brand stories, urgency, value comparisons, and offers. Different formats to engage different audiences.

On the organic social side, it was a case of firing things back up after Good Move had been dormant for a while. They hadn’t posted on Facebook in eight years. Instagram was non-existent. For a brand like Good Move, social is a vital trust signal. It was a missed opportunity.

We breathed new life into Good Move’s social media presence, shifting the brand from absent to active. Organic social became an active content hub supporting paid social, SEO, and PR. Our integrated approach meant everything worked together – and every channel performed better for it.

Results

Good Move exists in a difficult search landscape and a volatile market, but our team delivered – if we do say so ourselves.

Within the first 12 months of paid media activity, we saw a 300% increase in traffic to the Good Move site. Most importantly, it was the right kind of traffic. Our tailored approach meant we were in front of the right people at the right time, and we saw a 343% increase in leads year-on-year.

A 59% drop in Cost per Acquisition was a solid sign we were moving all metrics in the right direction. Meanwhile, paid and organic activity led to a 99.6% increase in link clicks.
