BigPay Welcomes Digital Media Design Students from The One Academy! BigPay was delighted to host 35 Digital Media Design degree students from The One Academy Malaysia at our office recently. This special visit, organized by our Design Department, Junhoe Wong, Wei Bin Chan, Khairina Mohammad Diah, Akmal Hakim — included a workshop focused on preparing students for real world expectations in the creative and digital industry. This initiative supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4), which promotes quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all. It also contributes to BigPay’s Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, as we aim to give back by nurturing the next generation of creative talent . The workshop gave students valuable insights into how the industry operates. Topics covered included managing project resources and budgets, making effective decisions, and learning how to prioritize both current and upcoming projects. The overall objective was to provide a clear understanding of how projects are run in a real business environment. “From my observation, the workshop achieved its goal of giving students the confidence to prioritize their projects. By the end of the session, I can confidently say that all 35 students understood the essential steps they need to take, from the beginning to the later stages of a project, all with proper planning in mind,” said Mr Junhoe Wong, the main organiser and main speaker of the workshop. BigPay believes this was a valuable first step in preparing the younger generation for the demands of the industry.
