🚨 WE ARE HIRING! I'm looking for two incredible people to come and work with me. Medical Director for the UK 🇬🇧 Medical Director for Sweden 🇸🇪 I joined Neko Health because I genuinely believe we're building something that will change how people experience their health… catching the things that matter, early, before they become devastating. We are prevention-first, technology-enabled, and very, deeply human. But to do it properly, I need brilliant clinical leaders alongside me. People who've built real expertise, who care deeply about getting medicine right, and who are ready to help shape what healthcare looks like next. If that sounds like you, or someone you know, I'd love to hear from you: 🔗 Medical Director, UK → https://lnkd.in/emw2swd6 🔗 Medical Director, Sweden → https://lnkd.in/eVFFSdSc This mission matters beyond clinics or countries, because is it a chance to lead, the build, and to do work that genuinely matters. I just had a healthcare experience that felt like the Four Seasons. It cost about the same as a doctor's visit before I hit my deductible. Last week in London, I spent 40 minutes at Neko Health. In those 40 minutes, I got a full body scan, blood work, vitals, and an unhurried sit-down with a doctor who walked me through every result. Over 2,000 images of my body. Every spot scanned. Diagnostics delivered in real time. The technology is extraordinary. But the technology isn't what I keep thinking about. What stood out was the hospitality. A robe that matched the room I was assigned. Slippers that actually fit. Rooms designed as a single connected sequence, undress, scan, blood draw, doctor consult, each space flowing into the next like chapters in one story. I was never shuttled. I was never processed. Every detail had been considered by someone who clearly cared. I am, by my own admission, high maintenance. I am also discerning. I notice when a candle is the wrong scent for the room. I notice when a hotel lobby is overlit. I notice when service is choreography versus when it's actually care. This was care. We talk about healthcare being broken, and we usually mean cost and access. We don't talk enough about how cold it feels. How dehumanizing the gowns are. How fluorescent the waiting rooms are. How rushed every doctor is. How much of the experience has been engineered for the system instead of the human inside it. Neko closed the technology gap and the warmth gap at the same time. That is the real breakthrough. As someone who builds in this space, I notice when something is genuinely new. This is. There is a 300,000-person waitlist. They are opening in New York soon. Get on the list. A huge thank you to Chrysi Philalithes, Dee Poku Spalding, and The WIE Suite community for making this possible.

Some weeks are hard to beat. Arsenal champions again after 22 years 🏆 And Thierry Henry at Neko Health. Thierry wasn’t just a footballer. He was elegance, speed, confidence, creativity and that feeling that something extraordinary could happen every time he got the ball. Seeing him at Neko, in the same week Arsenal finally lifted the Premier League trophy again, is something special I will never forget.. It definitely gave me "That Champion Feeling" Thank you Hjalmar Nilsonne, Daniel Ek for making moments like this possible. North London foreva, whateva the wetha ❤️

Saw my friend Shakil Khan today for the first time in almost a decade. Shak is a legendary startup whisperer, early investor in Spotify (2008!), and was partner in crime to Daniel Ek before anyone knew who Daniel Ek was. Also finally went to the much-loved Neko Health (another startup he whispers to). £299 for a full-body scan and bloodwork workup that I've paid thousands for in the past – but on steroids. Results are instant, and you meet with a doctor immediately after to review them, which is amazing because it can be so stressful waiting days (sometimes weeks) for a doctor to call you with the results. My results came back better than expected – cardio health is 4 years younger than my age! One note from the doctor: get on the strength training. Building something sustainable in business takes stamina, so it feels great to take the long view on my health. (For my US-based friends, you're in luck: Neko Health is launching in a bunch of cities soon!)

Not my typical LI post... ...but I can think of no better words to share my experience with Neko Health than Pranav Yadav’s when he shared his: “I have seen the future.” Last week in London, in something reminiscent of The Jetson’s and in just under one hour, I received the most comprehensive health screening I ever have. More than 2000 images were taken of my body (those lucky bastards), analyzing my skin, my tissue, my blood, blood pressure and flow, heart, eye pressure, muscle mass (off the charts...kidding!), all with results and diagnostics delivered immediately during an un-rushed consultation and debrief with a doctor. While the product is amazing, so too was the experience which I can only describe as deeply personalized, humane, and futuristic despite it being current state (of the diagnostic arts). Co-founded by Daniel Ek to herald a new era of accessible preventative medicine, the waitlist is over 300,000 people for something I was certain would cost closer to $3000 than the $500 (at current terrible exchange rates) than it did. Neko is opening in NYC shortly, and consider this (FWIW) a full-throated endorsement and encouragement. If they’ll have me, I'm signing up for membership to ensure my first scan serves as a baseline for those that follow. Grateful to Chrysi Philalithes and Neko Health for taking such good care. (And that’s an Xray of me on the table.)

The biggest shift in healthcare won't come from treating people better when they're sick. It'll come from people deciding to understand their health before something goes wrong — and building the systems, incentives and data infrastructure to make that possible for everyone. Had a great time speaking to a packed room of healthcare professionals armed with great questions last week, together with Dr Nikita Kanani MBE. Thank you Dr. James Somauroo and SomX for convening this room full of curious people looking to learn more and share their views of what should happen next.

We need to all work hard to live as long as possible, and in good health. I’ve met many companies trying to support this mission. One stands out, that those in the US haven’t experienced yet. I was blown away by the experience at Neko (https://lnkd.in/eUP3uyuE) in London. Insanely well crafted patient experience, 30 min from start to finish, £300 (way cheaper than most), and immediate blood/skin/other results that a doctor walks you through live. They are focused on detecting and monitoring the things that most predict potential health problems at a very affordable annual cost. They’ve developed all their own technology, which feels like living in the future, now. They are opening in NYC soon. Go in London if you can. Future is bright in so many ways. Go try it!

💪🏾 At Neko Health, we have been looking forward to this week for months!   Our FIRST US clinical team started with us on Monday. The clinicians and operators who will open our doors in New York and be there for every member who walks in.   We don't believe you can build great clinical culture just by handing someone a manual. So we didn't!   Instead, over the coming weeks, this founding cohort will train in New York, immerse themselves in our London clinics, and travel to Stockholm - where Neko began - to understand our mission, our people, and the why behind what we do.   See, the standard of care we deliver depends entirely on the people delivering it. Our people.   The rigour they bring. The curiosity they carry. The culture they build together from day one. Watching this team start this week, I feel proud of what we've built and genuinely excited about what comes next. I joined Neko because I believe preventive health, done properly and at scale, changes lives. As a GP I see too many things caught too late. Ours is a real answer to a real problem.   New York - we're nearly there, and we are bringing the answers🗽   #NekoHealth #PreventiveHealth #HealthcareInnovation #MedicalExcellence
