Undergraduates Can Discover the Fascination of Research

Research opportunities abound for UT Dallas undergraduate students, and take it from the people who have traveled this road: Like a typical experiment, it can be incredibly rewarding and completely unpredictable. A new page features the stories of six faculty members, a current undergraduate and a recent alumnus whose research success — and how they got there — is instructive. While we were at it, we asked the faculty a simple question: Why is research so fascinating? Each one had a different answer.

Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost

Dr. Inga H. Musselman’s responsibilities include faculty hiring and advancement, academic programs and facilities, and budget priorities and budget allocations for the seven UT Dallas schools. She is the University’s primary contact with the Office of Academic Affairs for The University of Texas System.
