Terms and Conditions for Tutoring Services

We recognize that unexpected events and changes can occur. To maintain a smooth operation for both our tutors and the schools we serve, we kindly request adherence to the agreed-upon program schedule. Should there be a need for last-minute changes or cancellations, the following conditions will apply:

• Notification: Schools must inform PRACTICE of any changes to the schedule at the earliest possible opportunity.

• Invoicing: In cases where last-minute changes prevent the delivery of tutoring services as originally planned, PRACTICE will still invoice for the services as originally agreed.
• Alternative Services: To ensure value and continuity for both students and schools, our tutors are prepared to offer alternative services in lieu of the scheduled tutoring sessions. These include but are not limited to:
  • Accompanying students on school field trips.
  • Providing assistance in other classes as needed.
  • Engaging in lesson planning and preparation remotely.
  • Grading papers or performing related academic assessments.
  • Undertaking clerical or administrative tasks, subject to prior agreement with the tutor.
• Inclement Weather: In the event that a school site is closed due to inclement weather or other weather-related emergencies, scheduled in-person programs will be considered fulfilled for billing purposes. Accordingly, PRACTICE reserves the right to invoice for the scheduled services, and tutors will be compensated for their reserved time.
  
• On-Demand Virtual Services
  • No-Show Policy: Clients will be billed for 1 session for every 2 no-show’s.
  • Session Expiry: Unused sessions must be used by the end of May and do not carry over to the following period.
  • Booking Limit: Families may book only one session per day.
