Ashoka is the first and largest network of social innovators in the world! The world’s most pressing problems are complex and interconnected, each one compounding the other until they seem impossible to solve. Solutions must be interconnected as well. With over 3,500 Ashoka Fellows from 93 countries, Ashoka is the largest professional network of social innovators in the world. Through its global community of changemakers, Ashoka is helping accelerate social change across causes, disciplines, sectors, and borders. As an international citizen-sector organization, Ashoka's mission is to help build an Everyone A Changemaker World™ or a world that responds quickly and effectively to social challenges and where each individual has the freedom, confidence, and societal support to address any social problem and drive change. In 2007, Ashoka started helping institutions develop social entrepreneurship programs in the Philippines. Officially launched in 2013, Ashoka has since elected 9 Ashoka Fellows from all over the country. As the search for high-impact social innovators continues, Ashoka is helping nurture the changemaker ecosystem in the Philippines through creative coalitions, knowledge sharing, and open collaboration.

    Last December 5, 2025, Bayi, Inc. conducted a Validation on the ‘𝘕𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘝𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘈𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵 𝘞𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘗𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘴 (𝘝𝘈𝘞𝘗): 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘴𝘦’ (Part 1). This was collective step to document the unspoken, and to shape policies that ensure safer, more inclusive political spaces for all women. A Care Session led by Angat Bayi Fellow Mika Ortega concluded the session. Bayi team is led by Dr. Jean Franco and Red Raz. Last December 5, 2025, Bayi, Inc. conducted a Validation on the ‘𝘕𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘝𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘈𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵 𝘞𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘗𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘴 (𝘝𝘈𝘞𝘗): 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘴𝘦’ (Part 1). This was collective step to document the unspoken, and to shape policies that ensure safer, more inclusive political spaces for all women.     More than 1,000 people have lost their lives, and over 3.2 million people have been affected after an exceptionally rare tropical storm across Southeast Asia. Amid the emergency, #AshokaFellows and other leaders are taking action to address the urgent needs.    ➡️ Dina Lumbantobing is coordinating urgent relief across 13 municipalities and 31 villages in Indonesia, especially for vulnerable women who were pregnant, with small babies, elderly, or with medical conditions.   ➡️ Umi Hanisah is restoring a girls' boarding school to provide basic needs for the students.   ➡️ Lely Zailani, founder of HAPSARI and advocate for women workers in Sumatra, is delivering food and essential supplies to communities severely affected by the flooding.    ➡️ Robin Lim and her network of midwives at Yayasan Bumi Sehat are distributing aid to the most impacted areas.    Please share or donate to support ongoing relief.
