The FMA’s fintech sandbox pilot marks a significant step towards fostering innovation, encouraging competition, and creating a more dynamic financial services landscape in New Zealand. We're pleased to announce the six fintech firms who will be testing their products, services or business models in the FMA’s pilot regulatory sandbox. They are: • ECDD Holdings Limited • Emerge Group Limited • Homeshare • IIF • Indigishare • Tandym Limited This pilot was opened to all parts of the financial sector that come under the FMA remit, including new entrants and those firms already with a market presence. The sandbox aims to lower barriers to entry for fintech innovators and accelerate the development of digital products that meet the evolving needs of New Zealand’s financial services consumers.
