Thus, this study focuses on building a speech engine that can accurately transcribe audio data into words using machine learning methods. This project can be distinguished from other machine learning based speech recognition systems in that it can learn to recognize professional terms in a specific domain, this, being the main requirement that our client gave us. One of the requirements of this project is that the system should cover the domains of Haematology, Urology, Radiology, and Oncology. Because they were developed for general purposes, it is extremely difficult to predict the vocabulary belonging to a niche domain using current speech recognition systems.
