True or False? Does FSSC 22000 Version 6 permit an organization to combine its quality policy and objectives with the food safety policy and objectives? True. An organization is not required to have a separate quality policy; it is possible to integrate the quality policy into the food safety policy, for example, as long as it is clearly defined and distinguishable. What does the future of food safety look like? FSSC will help answer that at the Vienna Food Safety Forum 2025 – a global event focused on transforming agri-food systems through innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. From 10 to 12 June, the Forum will explore how artificial intelligence, digitalization, and traceability are reshaping the way we ensure safer food systems worldwide. FSSC will co-organize program sessions five and six alongside UNIDO and the Australian Government. The #VSFP event addressed Food Loss and Waste (FLW) challenges in global food systems and emphasized the vital role of packaging in food security. Together with WPO World Packaging Organisation, we are committed to balancing the reduction of FLW and packaging materials while keeping food safe. In association with Andhra Chamber Of Commerce - India, FSSC is honored to have esteemed guest speakers, including Ms. Roop Rashi and Padmabhushan Shri Nalli Kuppuswami, at the India Summit 2025.  As Textile Commissioner for the Government of India, Ms. Roop Rashi's efforts are directed towards strengthening the Indian Textile Value Chain as a supply source, supporting Responsible Manufacturing along the value chain, and enhancing technological capacities in this MSME-driven, high-employment-generation sector.  Padmabhushan Shri Nalli Kuppuswami, Chennai-based businessman of the 90-plus-year-old Nalli business house, known for quality silk products, promotes customer care as his core strength. In 2003, Nalli Kuppuswami Chettiar was recognized for his contribution to trade and industry when the Government of India awarded him the prestigious Padma Shri title. He has written multiple award-winning business books on management and ethics and is the respected Patron of the Tamil Chamber of Commerce. Looking back, we can reflect on a year marked by milestone achievements, such as:  📌 The roll-out of Version 6 of our FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System Certification Scheme.  📌 Our FSSC 24000 Social Sustainability Management Scheme achieved key industry and technical recognitions, such as those from the The Consumer Goods Forum  Sustainable Supply Chain Initiative (SSCI) and the International Accreditation Forum Inc  📌 Demonstrating our commitment to the highest information security standards, FSSC achieved ISO 27001 certification. We support the consumer goods industry with our Certification Schemes and facilitate the implementation of effective management systems that will have a long-term impact on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  A big thank you to our team, partners, and other key stakeholders who have contributed to our success so far.
