100,000 Destinus followers That is more people than live in #Hengelo, where we actually build the systems. We are not entirely sure what to do with this information, but it felt worth mentioning. Thank you for following along. 𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞. Back to work.

European missile systems at industrial scale
Over ons
Destinus builds strike and interceptor missile systems for modern war, and produces them at industrial scale. Our systems are battlefield-validated and in high-volume serial production, with annual output measured in the thousands. We design and manufacture key technologies in-house, including propulsion, guidance, autonomy, warheads and system integration. Destinus operates across a European industrial footprint and builds systems for operational use, rapid upgrades and scalable replenishment. Our goal is to give Europe and allied countries cost-effective missile capability they can produce, control and scale.

#Twente 🇳🇱 keeps producing unusual things. Radio astronomy. Semiconductors. Cybersecurity experts. And now, increasingly, 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲. MEP Bart Groothuis came to #Hengelo with the kind of questions you only ask when you understand that modern defence is no longer just a policy debate. Before Brussels, he worked on cybersecurity at the MINDEF (NL). Today, in his home region of Twente, he stood on a production floor and saw one answer: European strike and air defence systems, designed and built in the #Netherlands. No slides. No abstractions. Just engineers, the line, and the industrial reality behind European defence.

Artillery is changing. It's changing faster than the institutions built around it. At the Future Artillery Conference in London, Carl Haigh presented Destinus's perspective on the implications of scalable, production-ready strike systems for the future of deep fires across NATO. The room was full of people thinking about the same problem from different angles: Representatives from the NATO Allied Rapid Reaction Corps, NATO Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS), British Army, British Army - Programmes and Royal School of Artillery were in attendance. Good sign. #FutureArtillery #DeepStrike #EuropeanDefense #UK

Glad to have hosted part of the Embassy of France in the Netherlands study mission to the Netherlands at Destinus, alongside institutions shaping Europe’s defence industrial and strategic ecosystem. Modern defence is increasingly about industrial capacity, resilience, production tempo, and the ability to replenish at scale, not only platforms themselves. A lot of ground covered in #Amsterdam and #Hengelo. Europe has the talent and the will. Now it is about execution!
🇷🇴 Industrial capacity is becoming a strategic capability. Meeting with Romanian Economy Minister Ambrozie-Irineu Darau in #Bucharest, where the Black Sea is increasingly becoming an industrial question. Oleksandr Danylyuk Timea L.

#Destinus was in Bucharest last week for #BSDA2026, during the same week as the B9 Summit. The message across both events was the same: Europe needs sovereign industrial capacity, at scale, now. Oleksandr Danylyuk joined panels on air capability and regional security. #Romania has serious defence ambitions and the political will to match. Destinus intends to help build that future.

XPONENTIAL Show confirmed one important thing: autonomy is no longer a topic for future discussion. It is now a problem of manufacturing, integration, and scaling. The interesting conversations weren't about slides or concepts. They were about production tempo, operational constraints, deployment realities, and whether Europe can industrialize what it already knows how to build quickly enough. This was precisely the focus of our discussions regarding the Ruta B2, the Kryla, and the Hornet B2 this week. The future of defense will belong not only to those who innovate but also to those who can produce at scale. #Xponential #Xponential2026 #Destinus Ron Kavanaugh Glenn Gino de Vries
