  • Deep Image Reconstruction from Brain Activity

    Conducted a thesis in reconstructing seen and imagined images from brain activity using deep learning framework. The brain activities functional resonance imaging (fMRI) and electroencephalogram (EEG) recorded from the subjects are used to reconstruct the images using a novel approach of DualGAN (Dual Generative Adversarial Networks) and the current state-of-the-art method: inverting a pre-trained CNN (Convolutional Neural Network)

    Implemented a program that can generate poems, in particular Shakespearean-styled poetry, using recurrent neural networks and gated recurrent units. The program can generate any number of distinct poems based on a user-supplied topic or image.

    EventLite is a web application to create, list, search and manage events that are going on in Manchester. The web application has two main roles, event seekers for those looking for events and event managers for those who create events.
    The web application is created by a team of six, using Spring framework and other external APIs.

  • Stendhal Game

    -

    Stendhal is a multi-player online adventure game with over ten years of commit history which I am working on the automation of builds and tests as a team of six people over 12 weeks.
    Tested, debugged, built, developed and deployed a multi-user, multi-threaded, client-server open source game containing over 6000 Java classes and 1800 test cases using Eclipse, Git, Apache Ant, Jenkins, JUnit and SonarQube.

    Study Buddy is a web application created by the M3 Group of the School of Computer Science from the University of Manchester as the project for the course COMP10120 First Year Team Project. The purpose of the web application is to help the users be aware of their procrastination.
    The web application allows users to input questions they want to learn, then those questions would pop-up routinely for them to answer. The web application is built using HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL and JavaScript.
