    InclusiveSTEM was conceived as part of an effort to reduce the barrier of entry into STEM for students with disabilities. Students with disabilities remain underrepresented in the STEM field. However, given the proper accommodations that allow for success, students with disabilities are as capable as any other student. If these students cannot access opportunities that feed into the STEM pipeline, they will remain invisible.

    The InclusiveSTEM program lines up several STEM activities…

    InclusiveSTEM was conceived as part of an effort to reduce the barrier of entry into STEM for students with disabilities. Students with disabilities remain underrepresented in the STEM field. However, given the proper accommodations that allow for success, students with disabilities are as capable as any other student. If these students cannot access opportunities that feed into the STEM pipeline, they will remain invisible.

    The InclusiveSTEM program lines up several STEM activities such as 3D printing and modelling, coding an arcade game and exploring with a microscope that provides different opportunities for students with disabilities to put their foot in into different domains in STEM.
