I have used Samsung Fold4 and % before switching to S24Ultra due to poor cameras of the Folds. Now I use S25Ultra. I eagerly anticipated the release of Fold8 series because I want to return to bigger screens, but I find it hard to pay $2000 in 2026 for a Samsung 'Ultra' phone with telephoto and selfie cameras fitted on Fold4 of 2022! Not to talk of absence of S-pen which I use a lot.
Samsung decided to spread their best cameras across 3 flagships with only S25Ultra having the best of all 4 cameras and S-pen but fitted with the smallest screen. If you want bigger screens you have to make do with average cameras and no S-pen.
For the 1st time I am seriously considering Oppo Find N6. Better cameras, bigger battery and pen support on both screens. Samsung why do you have to do this to your loyal customers???

I'm glad they're finally bringing Si/C to their phones. Makes me more interested in the future S series if they bring it to those as well.

The issues, listed in order, are:
Having a PPI below 500 is not acceptable for a device released in 2026.
A battery capacity under 7000 mAh in 2026 does not make sense, especially for a device with an 8-inch display.
Although it supports fast charging, the charging speed is still limited to only 45W, which feels outdated for 2026.
In 2026, 8K video recording should support at least 60 FPS, and 4K video recording should support at least 120 FPS.
For a device with 1TB of storage, the expected RAM should be at least 24GB, not just 16GB, especially in 2026.
