Haven’t been here in awhile, but I’m glad to see you’re still finding ways of working Apple products into every review. Reviews a Samsung Tablet and works a photo of a MacBook into it. Gotta earn that kickback from Apple someway...

Same price as iPad pro powerhouse with a toy chipset in comparison. They will not sell one of these.

thenamelessone7, 15 Oct 2026One of the reasons is that there is statutory warranty of 2... more24 months of warranty, EU directive for distant contracts that gives the customer the right to return products even after unpacking and testing, mandatory supply with spare parts for many years, 27 legislations with local rulings, registrations and reportings for things like waste disposal/recycling/packaging, 27 countries where a company should maintain a local sales and service infrastructure, almost as many different languages spoken

I think that the EU is a great achievement overall - doing business here is costly, though, when compared to real single markets like the USA, China or India. And those costs for complexity and consumer protection need to be covered by the customer eventually.

Why would I want a tablet with cameras sticking out of the back

Android Dwarfs iOS, 15 Oct 2026Once again European users have to shell out around €160 mor... moreOne of the reasons is that there is statutory warranty of 24 months in the EU as opposed to just 12 months in quite a lot of other places. The rest of the price difference is just milking Europe for extra cash.

I really don't like the notch. Fine in horizontal use, but once you go vertical it looks like a splodge of dead pixels.. I also stick to what I said before, if you want something similar yet more capable, the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 is right there. Costs less, offers the same overall functionality. It is thicker and heavier being a laptop and all, but it also comes with an S-Pen and a touchscreen, has otherwise comparable specs and is a good chunk cheaper too

                            "Leading performance."

                            What? Where?

An iPad makes much more sense at this price for a few reasons, with much superior performance being one of them.
The other android tablets are also outperforming it.

I was excited to buy the S8 Ultra but came to regret it. It's too awkward to use comfortably on your lap and too big and for my backpack. It never left the living room and I sold it in less than a year. A laptop is better in many ways as is a regular 11 inch tablet because both are more portable and easier to use in bed.

Excuse me GSMarena, where's the con being that this is so similar to the Tab S11 Ultra?

So this makes perfect sense, although judging by the timing of launch, Samsung should be supplying the latest chip.
