Samsung Galaxy A37 review

Hey guys,

I'm thinking of buying this. I know there are better alternatives for this phone, but pricing in Turkey is very weird. For example, A17 5G is 16K, and A27 is 19K, and A37 is 23K. All of them have an 8/256 configuration. I don't need to buy Samsung, but for pricing in this s-ithole, the best price-to-performance is Samsung in this price range. For example, A57 is 31K, Poco X8 Pro is 30K, Poco X8 Pro Max is 43K, and Vivo V70 49K!!!

What are your suggestions?

I don't play games, etc., just regular web browsing, banking, socials.

          FHD+ at this price that's embarrassing. Every phone in this Price range is 1.5K Super HD: Honor X9D, Redmi Note 15/17 Pro, Infinix Note 60, Vivo V70 FE which are all 1.5K.
          Even the lower range phones now are 1.5K: Honor 600 lite or Infinix Note Edge.

Lowest I've seen was $ 300 for 6/128 GB, but went up to $ 330 after 2 days. Decent phone, decent price. Nothing amazing, but far from the worst. Highly versatile: good performance, good cameras, eSIM, IP68, good battery life and charging, good voice calls. Tried Poco M8 against the A37. Immediately returned the Poco. HyperOS... not for me. Plus, the camera was really bad and heated quite a lot. People like to crap on Samsung, but... you really don't have a lot of choices for budget friendly phones (looking at you, Pixel 10a). Like, actual USABLE budget friendly phones.

                      A37 is what the A35 should have been, and it's still 2 generations behind the a57

                          A56 -- 162.2mm x 77.5mm x 7.4mm (6.39" x 3.05" x 0.29")

                            Regardless, the A37 is a poor choice.

                                  If you cannot do that, just get a discounted A36 instead. Not much difference in performance, same build quality.
                                  Or wait for this to drop in price. It’s already around $300+ in the open market. It should dip below $300 in a few months time.
