Oppo Find X10 review
The competition
The Oppo Find X10 launches at €1,199/£999 for the 12/256GB version and €1,399/£1,149 for the 12/512GB version.
Feature-wise, Oppo is clearly targeting the smartphone at customers who are after a more reasonably sized but full-fledged flagship.
The Oppo Find X10 builds on its predecessor with an LTPO display, a refreshed chipset, and higher-resolution sensors for the main, telephoto, and selfie cameras. These are incremental upgrades unlikely to tempt existing Find X9 owners, but for anyone who's coming from an older device, the Find X9 is one of the immediately obvious alternatives. It is now significantly cheaper and delivers much of the same experience. You'd be giving up the LTPO panel and the camera upgrades, but the savings could easily make up for those compromises.
Oppo Find X9 • Xiaomi 17 • Xiaomi 18 Pro • Apple iPhone 18 Pro
The Xiaomi 17 is an even more compact flagship, packing a more powerful Snapdragon Elite chipset and Leica-branded cameras. It also costs less than the Find X10, making it a compelling alternative that delivers a similar, if not better, overall experience.
Then there's the upcoming global launch of the Xiaomi 18 Pro, which could be an even tougher rival. It's expected to cost about the same as the Find X10, while offering a similarly impressive display and camera setup, a top-tier chipset, and a unique secondary screen on the back. That's quite a package for Oppo to compete with.
Finally, the iPhone 18 Pro is an excellent alternative for those who prefer a compact flagship with top-notch performance, particularly for gaming and video recording. That is, of course, provided you're comfortable switching to iOS.
Our verdict
The Oppo Find X10 ticks just about every box on the flagship checklist. It has an excellent LTPO OLED display with exceptional brightness, while its sleek design is backed by a durable build and top-tier ingress protection.
The Dimensity 9600M may not be topping the benchmark charts, but it still delivers plenty of performance for even the most demanding tasks.
Cameras have always been a major selling point of Oppo's Find series, and the Find X10 doesn't disappoint. The main, ultrawide, and telephoto cameras deliver excellent photos across a variety of shooting conditions, complemented by a versatile selection of shooting modes. Daytime video quality is great, too, although low-light footage leaves something to be desired. The selfie camera is another highlight, with excellent image quality and a wider field of view that's particularly handy for group shots.
Battery life is another area where the Find X10 truly shines, delivering class-leading endurance alongside impressively fast charging. ColorOS 17 rounds off the package with a polished, highly customizable interface and an extensive suite of AI features.
There are a few shortcomings, of course. The 144Hz refresh rate has limited practical use, and low-light video recording could have been better. But the biggest issue is the launch price, which puts the Find X10 in a difficult position.
Ultimately, the Oppo Find X10 is a superb all-round flagship with hardly any meaningful weaknesses. Its steep launch price, however, makes it a tough sell against some excellent and often more affordable rivals. A decent price cut would change that equation entirely, making the Find X10 an easy recommendation.

This is not a gaming phone. Other specs also matter. I'd rather have an upgraded telephoto system + larger battery than simply upgrading chipset and finish (Galaxy S26)

Even in my country where there is a $300 difference between the two phones, I'd still recommend the Find X10 over the cheaper S26 Ultra. Have you even played with both phones in real life? I bet not, and it's clear you have just formed...

If I remember correctly, the regular Find X9 has a dumbed down version of Master Mode which doesn't even allow you to shoot in 50MP JPEG or RAW Max, so it does make sense that you found it lacking. I have no idea why Oppo does this, but it'...
