Tobesoft has supplied its web-standard-based UI/UX development platform, Nexacro N, to Woori Bank for the modernization of its “Noranjusan System.” The project focuses on transitioning the existing client-server system to a fully web-based environment and introducing an electronic document workflow. It includes a comprehensive UI/UX redesign aimed at improving usability, simplifying menu structures, and enhancing screen readability. By adopting Nexacro N v24, the system leverages a Real OSMU (One Source Multi Use) architecture, enabling optimized services across operating systems, browsers, and mobile environments through a single codebase. [From Past Trends to Future UX] One in four Koreans has now used generative AI. According to the 2024 Intelligent Information Society User Panel Survey released by the Korea Communications Commission and KISDI, 24 percent of the population has experience using tools like ChatGPT. Just a year ago, that number was 12.3 percent. More notably, paid subscriptions surged nearly sevenfold. This suggests that AI usage is shifting from curiosity to sustained value recognition. What changed? In 2023, generative AI was largely perceived as a writing assistant. In 2024, usage patterns diversified significantly. Text generation remains dominant, but its share has declined as image, voice, and music generation gained traction. The multimodal era is no longer theoretical. It is operational. Users are no longer simply searching for information. They are generating outputs. Documents, visuals, audio, and even strategic insights are now produced within the same interface. Motivations are equally telling. Nearly 88 percent cited contextual understanding as the primary benefit. 70 percent pointed to productivity gains. Almost 70 percent described AI as a conversational partner. This shift reframes AI from tool to interface. However, adoption barriers remain. Many non-users still perceive AI as complex or risky, with concerns around data privacy and misuse outweighing technical limitations. At the same time, societal concerns are evolving. Job displacement, copyright disputes, and AI misuse are increasingly recognized as systemic risks rather than abstract fears. What does this mean from a UX perspective? AI is not just another feature layer. It is reshaping how users interact with information, make decisions, and complete tasks. Interfaces are becoming conversational, multimodal, predictive, and increasingly personalized. The past was about access to information. The present is about synthesis and generation. The future may be about orchestration. If 24 percent represents early normalization, the next inflection point may arrive faster than expected. Neo-Pangaea is designed as a cloud-native AI-based LCAP platform that integrates automated DevOps, a unified development environment, and full-stack support across development, operations, and security. [From Past Trends to Future UX] Search used to mean typing keywords and clicking links. Now it often means asking a question and getting an answer. In May 2025, ChatGPT’s monthly active users in Korea surpassed 10 million, doubling in just one month. At the same time, Apple’s SVP Eddie Cue publicly noted that search volume in Safari has declined a signal that traditional search behavior is shifting. Users are moving from “link lists” to “direct answers.” From keyword-based queries to contextual conversations. From searching for information to generating results. AI search doesn’t just retrieve content; it summarizes, contextualizes, and even produces deliverables. What once required multiple steps (search → document → presentation) can now happen in a single prompt. Of course, incumbents aren’t standing still. Google is expanding AI Overviews and generative search features, while Naver integrates HyperCLOVA X and AI summaries directly into its search experience. The question is no longer whether AI will impact search. It already has. The bigger shift? Search is evolving from a tool for discovery into an interface for decision-making.
