About

"I will become the comment king!"

Years ago this is what I said to myself 9 months after I joined KYM. Though this may sound like a strange thing to suddenly strive for after 9 months of near in-activity; for me, this is when I truly became a member. As I had received a drive for notoriety and status in this great community, after seeing the amount of progress of those the likes of General Yi and Advance. Both of which had joined around the same time as I had. (And who I have actually outlasted by quite some time) And with that, I got myself a profile pic and started commenting away- abiding by that which I had set out before myself.

To become the comment king.

And I still do…

Anyway, with that out of the way; I'm thegreato :)
My interests include:

Anime/Manga:
One Piece, Gurren Lagann, Kill La Kill, JJBA, Berserk, Everyday Monstergirls, FLCL, Big O, Madoka Magica, and more

Videogames:
Systems: PS3, Wii U, and PC sometime in the future.

Some of my favorite games: Bioshock, Bioshock Infinite, Batman, Bayonetta 1&2, Smash Bros, Legend of Zelda series (I've finished Wind Waker, Twilight Princess and I'm up to "Demise" on Skyward Sword and currently on OoT's stealth section ), Skyrim, Fallout 3, Alice the Madness Returns, and many more

Fandoms:

Now some of the things here I may not have an in-depth knowledge about and don't play or watch them; but I have been surrounded by them so long I have extensive knowledge of them. But that isn't the case for all of them.

MLP, RWBY, Touhou, FNAF, Pokemon, Splatoon, Nintendo, Anime (in general), ect.

Music:

Rock, Classical Rock, Classical, Symphonic Metal, J-Pop songs that won't get the fuck out of my head, ect.

And for more about me, I am an Athiest; and not a douche about it. Live in New England, and generally have more Liberally aligning views. But mainly, I want to put out there that i'm at heart, friendly, open, carry the inspirational attitude of "Who the hell do you think I am!" and more that happy to discuss topics, and become friends with anyone who wants to be; my crew is always open.

Also, my Steam account name is KYM Thegreato. Though I haven't used it in a while…

My Nintendo ID though is KYMThegreato, and my nickname is simply Thegreato. Feel free to friend me on either platform! I'd look forward to having some fun!

Do you think that 1984 is unrealistic?

One thing I always found interesting about 1984 was thinking about it as a thought experiment; and just how antithetical the party of "Big Brother" was to the nature of free will and even life itself. It always came off to me that the higher ups really had nothing much to gain, and even bought into their own batshit ideology. They weren't motivated by greed or quest for power like Hitler or Stalin, instead they seemed utterly devoted to irradicating the idea of humanity and replace it with subservience....

Not that it's really important. But is this the first time that we've had an enemy crew with two women as main officers? I hope they stay evil. It'll be a nice change of pace. As for the crew themselves, they seem to fit the roles of casino/entertainment clubs and strips. We have. "Tycoon/CEO" (As the main villain) A "Valet" A "Bouncer" A "Mistress/Madam" And finally a "Flapper girl" Some additional information on her, according to Oda she won't be making the "crying" expression in the...

I'd like to point out that this is Nami's first post-timeskip arc outfit that isn't a bikini top/jeans variation. And it's her best outfit in years. Moving on there's one other thing that's been on my mind. Gotta be honest. I'm not a fan of Jack's nickname. "The Drought" just doesn't fit a giant Mamoth guy. I'd go with "The Glacier". A massive force that doesn't care and destroys whatever is in his way. Not to mention it goes along with him being a Woolly Mammoth DF user.

Games that you bought and just forgot about them.

Well, for my PS3 here goes: Darksiders: Don't know why, just stopped about an hour or so in. Fallout: New Vegas: Basically what happens when you buy two open world RPGs and play the other one first. Silent Hill 2 & 3: This one has a shit reason honestly. I got stuck in SH2 very early on and then I got distracted. I should really get back to it some day. I think I need to honestly. Mass Effect Series: I bought the bundle, got a couple dozen hours into ME1, then just sorta….stopped and never looked back.

Yeah…not all the bugs. The game breaking ones are a bitch. My experience with the "Dawnbreaker" quest in Skyrim still bugs the crap out of me; but they're usually solved within the first month or so. Things like the "Skyrim Space Program" glitch though, are things that make amazing games legendary.

Do I think Bethesda has a problem with releasing buggy games? Of course they do, and this level of bugs on release is bullshit. I'm not gonna lie. At the same time though, bugs with a Bethesda games are like a kid's messy room. You stare at them disappointedly long enough and they'll clean it up. Remember what Skyrim was like on launch? But when the patches are in place it's great and fun. So far you're only using it as a blanket statement to bash on the game in it's entirety, just because you don't...

>I’m just a lurker that became fed up with unfinished, broken games And an asshat that revels in intentionally spoiling stuff for other people. Seriously, you pull shit like that, along with your /v/ tier complaints and you wonder why no one takes you seriously.

Oh my. Ooooohh myyyyy. How do I put this? It gets better, then gets worse; it comes in waves. But I'll just say this. Right around Thriller Bark is the "end" of OP's "golden age" of pacing. It's not going to be awful but it's never going to be as good as it was.

Nationwide Campus Race Protests

Well, looking at the situation from afar I can tell it's not nearly as one sided as I believed it to be. _____________________________________________________________ On one hand, I can see that the response on the part of the president, while not racist, felt very "wishy washy". And when concerning the events that happened, while not at the fault of the school, could be very upsetting; and apparent inaction could be taken at offense. That being said, I don't think he deserved to be fired. A swift kick...
