Founded in 1872, the Tokyo National Museum is Japan's leading museum dedicated to the preservation and exhibition of cultural artifacts. 🏛️ Located adjacent to Ueno Park, the museum has a collection of 120,000 objects which are regularly swapped out with six exhibition buildings displaying art and archaeological objects of Asia, focusing on Japan. 🐟The Tokyo Sustainable Seafood Summit 2024 was held at the Tokyo International Forum from October 8 to 10, 2024. One of Asia’s largest #sustainable seafood events, the summit attracted over 900 delegates from 16 countries for a variety of fascinating keynotes and panel discussions on responsible seafood. 🌍 This was the 10th edition of the event and this time the organizers utilized Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau's Sustainable Event Support Desk to make the summit even more sustainable. ♻️ With the help of our sustainable event advisers, various sustainable initiatives were adopted including the reduction of one-use plastics, the reduction of food loss, the use of internationally certified sustainable seafood in the reception, and the promotion of diversity among invited speakers.
