Not every #problem needs an #AI agent. Join us for a #deep dive into #building AI agents that actually make sense—going beyond the hype to understand when, why, and how to deploy #intelligent systems effectively. What You'll Learn: - 🎯 When to use #agents (spoiler: not for 2+2)—understanding the right problems for agentic AI - 🏗️ Agent Design Kit (ADK): patterns and #architectures for building robust agents - 🔧 Agent types: from simple task automation to complex multi-agent #orchestration - 🐋 #Local models with Ollama: integrating open-source LLMs into your agent workflows - 🌐 #Open-source stack: building production-ready agents without vendor lock-in Format: - 📊 Conceptual overview with slides - 💻 Live demos and code walkthroughs - 🛠️ Hands-on patterns you can apply immediately Who Should Attend:  Developers, ML engineers, and tech enthusiasts interested in practical AI development. Whether you're building your first agent or optimizing existing systems, you'll leave with concrete strategies for purposeful AI deployment. Prerequisites:  Basic programming knowledge. Familiarity with Python and LLMs is helpful but not required. Plus, once the talk is over you can stay a bit longer for a networking session where you can chat, meet new people, and just have a good time. ✌️ Sign-Up here: https://lnkd.in/d3DUseKh

  • Stop treating language #models as black boxes. Join us to build your own #LLM from the ground up—understanding every layer, every attention head, and every training step that brings an #AI to #life. What You'll Learn: 🏗️ #Transformer architecture: decoder blocks, attention mechanisms, and the building blocks of modern LLMs 🔄 From #tokens to text: embeddings, RoPE (Rotary Positional Embeddings), and how models understand language 🎯 #Training your own Gemma: implementing a complete training pipeline with PyTorch ⚡ Modern training #practices: mixed precision, gradient accumulation, learning rate scheduling 🛠️ Beyond APIs: why building from scratch teaches you what no #API documentation can Format - Talk + Demo: 📊 Architectural deep-dive with #visual explanations 🧪 Training demonstrations and #inference examples 📦 Open-source stack you can take home and #experiment with Who Should Attend: #Developers and ML practitioners who want to understand what's really happening inside language models. Whether you're tired of treating LLMs as magic or ready to customise models for specific needs, you'll leave with a complete understanding of the foundations. Prerequisites: Python and basic ML concepts. PyTorch familiarity is helpful but we'll cover the essentials. Plus, once the talk is over you can stay a bit longer for a #networking aperitivo where you can chat, #meet new people, and just have a good time. ✌️ Sign-Up Here: https://lnkd.in/dUyqqCyD

A couple of months have passed since GDG AI HACK 2025… and honestly, I’m still taking it all in. What started as a simple #idea between three friends — me, Ginevra Carradori, and Pablo Giaccaglia — grew into something we never imagined: a pan-European #hackathon with hundreds of students, passionate #mentors, and top-tier #sponsors. Last year was our first edition, and we were blown away. But this year? It was on a completely different level. 🔥 From partners like ASUS and Braynr who believed in the vision, 🌍 to students applying from across #Europe, 💬 to the late-night coding, mentoring sessions, and pitch prep, it was incredible to witness the #energy and #creativity that everyone brought to the table. And behind the scenes, it wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing people who supported us every step of the way — a huge shoutout to Davide Tresoldi, Maurizio Ipsale, Alfredo Morresi, Alexis Einhorn, Lavinia Fogolari, Eleonora Parini, Alessandro de Concini, Piero Rivizzigno, Elsa Panza, and of course, the whole Google Developer Group - PoliMi team — just to mention a few. You ALL helped turn #chaos into #magic. But above all, thank you to the #students — the real heart of this event. You showed up with #ideas, #curiosity, and an inspiring drive to #build and learn. You made this more than just a hackathon — you made it a #community. Proud is an understatement. We wanted to give something back to the student community — and it turns out, the community gave us even more in return. 🙏 🚀 Already thinking about what’s next.

We started this #journey just a year ago — a small #team, a big #dream, and the hope that the tech #community at PoliMi would show up. It did. And this year, it wasn’t just PoliMi. ✨ 160 students from all over Europe joined us for GDG AI HACK 2025. They came with #curiosity, stayed for the #challenge, and left with new friends, bold ideas, and memories we’ll all carry for a while. Last year was an experiment. This year felt more like a #movement. What made it special wasn’t just the scale — it was the energy. The way complete strangers teamed up, built crazy prototypes in 24 hours, and cheered each other on like they’d known each other forever. To everyone who joined us: THANK YOU! Your warmth, your messages, your feedback — it means everything. Can’t wait to see where we go next. 💙 https://lnkd.in/dvQCyZJB #GDGAIHACK #GDGPoliMi #Hackathon #TechCommunity #FromStudentsToBuilders #MilanTech #EITDigital
