In their Ninth Annual CFO Awards, IMA gave out awards for excellence to CFOs. This year, from over 500 nominations, awards were given out to 11 CFOs in various categories. The award to me was for CFO of the Year - for Excellence in Finance in Managing a Turnaround. The jury for this award consisted of Homi Khusrokhan (ex Chairman, Tata Chemicals, Glaxo), Ranjit Shahane (Vice Chairman and MD of Novartis), Jayant Ram Varma (Dean, IIM Ahmedabad), Pronob Sen, Chief Statistician, Government of…
