  • Time Series Analysis using Twitter network of AT&T

    • The objective of this study is to find the right time series model to make predictions about the future customer sentiment in the Twitter network of AT&T.
    • Used forecast, rugarch, sGARCH and timeSeries packages in R with ARIMA, ARCH, and GARCH model for the forecast.
    • On the basis of AIC and BIC from the Arima model, I choose my final model for predicting the future values over all the other specifications.

    • Used R libraries like Boruta to find important features and applied Machine Learning models like SVM,
    RF regressor, LightGBM predicting loss ratio by 75%.
    • Cross-validation, MSE, and RMSE are used for checking the accuracy using pandas and R packages.

    • Predict whether gun violence in the upcoming future would be fatal or not using Classification
    techniques like XGBoost, RF and LR.
    • AUC of 74.62% using XGBoost which was concluded by h2o library of R-studio and presenting the
    model in the shiny app.
    • Suggested solutions to curb the situation and detect if it is going to be a mass shooting.

  • Text Analysis with Sentimental Analysis and Topic Modeling

    -

    • The aim is to find the reason behind mental disorder – if it is natural from birth or due to some
    difficult life situations. Used tokenization and stemming and visualize top used words by patients.
    • Created word cloud with sentiments (positive and negative) on the texts and applied topic modeling
    and LDA to cluster common topics.
    • Found out the common reason for their mental status which can be improved to improve their
    condition.

    • Created webApp named HealthyU to share, like, save and rate their healthy food recipe.
    • Used MongoDB, Ejs, JavaScript, HTML and CSS on Visual Studio as IDE.
    • User can add their favorite food items on the cart to save for future purposes and delete the item once
    they have used the recipe.
