🚨 OpenAI has closed a massive funding round with $122 billion in committed capital, valuing the company at $852 billion post-money, as it accelerates efforts to build what it describes as the core infrastructure layer for artificial intelligence. The round was anchored by strategic partners including Amazon, NVIDIA and SoftBank Group Corp., with continued participation from Microsoft. 🚨Wikipedia has introduced new guidelines prohibiting contributors from using artificial intelligence tools to create or rewrite content on its platform, reflecting growing concerns over accuracy and reliability. The policy update states that text generated by large language models (LLMs) often fails to meet Wikipedia’s core standards, particularly around verifiability and reliable sourcing. “For this reason, the use of LLMs to generate or rewrite article content is prohibited, save for the exceptions given below,” the platform said.
