🎥 “India’s Stories Deserve the World” — Uday Shankar Charts the Next Decade for Indian Entertainment 🌍 At the WAVES 2025 Summit in Mumbai, Uday Shankar, Vice Chairman of JioStar and Co-founder of Bodhi Tree Systems, delivered a deeply insightful keynote, reflecting on three decades of India’s video entertainment revolution—and mapping out a visionary path for the industry’s future. From the rise of satellite TV in the 1990s to the explosion of digital platforms like Hotstar and JioStar, Shankar outlined how India went from an ignored market to a hub of over 700 million video consumers.
