Michael Krauss שיתף את זהMichael Krauss שיתף את זהWhat is "CTR" or click through rate? In one of our previous posts, we spoke about how the ads and promotional materials shown on our screens are called Impressions. Click-through rate is the ratio between the number of clicks on the promotional content, and the number of times the content was presented to the user. CTR is an important metric because it helps the advertiser understand their customers — it tells them what works and what doesn’t when trying to reach their target audience. A low CTR could indicate that you’re targeting the wrong audience or that you’re not speaking their language persuasively enough to convince them to click. But what exactly pushes us? A great way to analize the advertisements we see every day is to use the three rhetorical strategies that Aristotle introduced.🤓 Ethos = Authority😎 Logos = Logic🤔 Pathos = Emotion😭 Ethos/Authority - What persona is presenting the offer? Which tone are they using and how do they present themselves within the situation? Logos/Logic- Does the argument presented in the ad make sense to us? What are the basic assumptions that lead us to the conclusion Pathos- which emotions does the ad bring out of us? Happiness, saddness, nostalgia, justice, anger... Out of these three elements, which effects you the most? Tell us your thoughts! 👇 #advertisingandmarketing #advertising #educational

Last night, thousands of Jewish teens from 486 cities and 60 countries gathered for the 18th annual CTeen Shabbaton, singing “Hashem Melech, Hashem Malach, Hashem Yimloch Le’olam Va’ed” in unison. Michael Krauss אהבתי את זהMichael Krauss אהבתי את זהThis just happened and it’s going viral for all the right and wrong reasons. As a social experiment, a man began pouring flammable liquid on himself and pretended to set himself on fire, in an attempt to see how the public would respond to such a scenario. A brave French Orthodox Jew, who didn’t know this was a staged experiment, created a tremendous Kiddush Hashem by putting his own life in danger as he stepped in to stop this man from taking his own life. What stood out the most, though, was everyone else’s response. While this man was attempting to take his own life, everyone else just looked on, as if watching a film. This young Jewish boy, however, not only tried to save the man’s life, but then stayed with him afterwards to console him. * We express who we are most potently in the actions we take. What we think about and talk about are essential, but how we show up in the world is how we express our values and who we really are. That’s what it means to be a walking Kiddush Hashem. It’s acting in such a way that through the actions we take and the light we shine, others see Hashem. Let’s be inspired by this young boy to show up in the world as someone who represents everything we believe is worth embodying.

Michael Krauss אהבתי את זהMichael Krauss אהבתי את זהThis new song hits all the right notes. No matter where we are in life, we always need someone who we can look up to; someone we can open up to; and someone who helps us strive to be a little more every day. And when we can find all three of these in the same person, it’s genuinely life-changing. So let’s strive to not only find a Rebbe/mentor for ourselves, but to also be that person for those in our inner circle who need it most. Because at the end of the day, the most powerful way to live life is “to strive to be the role model for others that we wish we had when we were younger” - it’s a powerful way to find your purpose in life. I hope this beautiful song and video hits home, and wishing you all an amazing, deep, and inspiring Shabbos!

Michael Krauss אהבתי את זהMichael Krauss אהבתי את זהThis Video was Created with the Help of Humans I'm thrilled to share this video which tells the true story of Milton Rubenfeld, an American pilot who fought Nazis in WW2 and later volunteered to help Israel during its War of Independence in 1948. I produced this video using many AI tools to save time and money and here are a few insights I thought might be worth sharing: 🚀 By the time you read this post, there will already be better tools, features, and newer versions available for generating content. By the time you share it, even more will emerge. The speed at which this field is evolving is mind-blowing. 🎨 I used the AI tools listed at the end of the video, alongside the expertise of a talented, human After Effects editor. Adobe has been incorporating AI capabilities into their software for a while, so our editor was utilizing some of that as well, especially in creating depth maps in images. 🔍 On the topic of Adobe - Firefly wasn't helpful for this project, but considering some of the tools they are developing (especially for video), I wouldn't be surprised if they bridge the gap very quickly. 📷 Midjourney is unbeatable when it comes to generating images, although I often still had to use Dall-E-2 and Runway for inpainting. The challenge is in creating consistency in a project. 💭 I didn't use Stable Diffusion + control net, as it would have taken much longer. However, I think it could be the way to go for bigger projects (unless Midjourney comes out with controllers, as some rumors suggest). 🐟 A fun limitation of AI tools? They don't know what "Gefilte Fish" is, nor can they pronounce or create it! 💡 If you're interested in learning more about the work process behind this project, let me know in the comments or email me at Shlomo@rogatka.co.il. If there's enough demand, I'd happily host an online Zoom call to share my workflow and insights in more detail. Aviz Maeir Hagai Adorian

Michael Krauss אהבתי את זהMichael Krauss אהבתי את זהSchool & college failed to teach me health & fitness. Neither did my family. So I ignored it till my mid 30's. Then to fix my own health, I spent the last few years studying and experimenting nutrition & exercise physiology. I went from an 32yo overweight and unhealthy person to a 40yo competitive endurance athlete. Here’s what i learned in 3 simple frameworks 1. What you eat is extremely important. And when you eat and how much is equally important. -Don't consume food or drink that comes in boxes, bags or cans, the stuff loaded with refined grains, sugar -Eat a high protein nutrient dense diet -Cook your own food ^That will be your superpower. 2. You don't need to have a six-pack. Exercise to feel confident and prevent disease. Your desk job is destroying your body and ruining your health. -Lift weights, workout at home or play a sport. Just move your body -Consistency is way more valuable than intensity. -We lose muscle as we age. -If you ignore gaining muscle, you will become weak, more susceptible to injuries and ultimately live with pain all day long. -Strength training will recreate the best version of yourself. The biggest lie you should ignore is that cardio kills muscle growth. 3. Stress is your biggest enemy. And sleep is your biggest performance enhancer. -Stress + rest = growth. Figuring out the appropriate dose of each is key. -Your hospital visits won't teach you this. Because they make money on your ignorance. -Stop eating 3 hours before bed. -Stop looking at screens 1 hour before bed. -Train yourself to deal with stress with exercise instead of surrendering to junk food or alcohol. Be curious and read scientific literature. Not clickbait articles. It's never too late to take charge of your health. Good luck! Michael Krauss אהבתי את זהMichael Krauss אהבתי את זהWhat a story! A huge Mazel Tov to Ryan Turell for making his debut with the NBA G League’s Detroit Pistons. A big Mazal Tov as well to Ryan’s college coach Elliot Steinmetz, from Yeshiva University. May both of you continue being an inspiration— living as dedicated, proud, unapologetic, driven Jews. * On a personal note, Ryan’s family lives right next to my cousins in Los Angeles and his parents are very close with my Aunt and Uncle, so I still remember that even when he was back in high school, Ryan was always a dreamer. And Elliot’s parents live right across the street from my parent’s, so I’ve seen much of his journey as well. Most people give up on their dreams. But the few who never give up are able to serve as an inspiration to everyone else; their very existence almost screams “IT’S POSSIBLE FOR YOU TO DO THIS TOO!” * I still remember when I was trying to build my future. I began college as a pre-med student, because that's what was expected of me. When I decided to pivot and pursue my true purpose, I got a lot of push back. No one believed I could succeed, and it took everything in me to stay strong. This still gives me chills when I think about it. I remember conversations I had with those who cared about me. They told me to be reasonable… after all, no one had ever done what I wanted to do… there was no roadmap, no model, no blueprint… (And of course, it’s only because they care about us so much that they try to protect us.) Every time, I would say the same thing: I don't "think" I'm going to succeed. I “know” I will. But every time, these thoughts would lurk around in the back of my head… "What if they're right… what if I don't have what it takes to pull this off. What if I never build a business model that works… what if I can’t achieve the financial freedom to support my dream and purpose of speaking, writing, and inspiring the Jewish People…? Now, I wish I could go back and have a nice talk with that kid and tell him: "We made it. Don't you worry. Not only have we been able to impact millions of lives, but we’ve built a successful MasterClass business (“Self-Mastery Academy“ and “Speaking Mastery”) as well as a thriving coaching business, transforming the lives of CEO’s, business owners, and high achievers." But I can't. And honestly, I wouldn't. I needed to earn that belief in myself. But what I can do is tell you, here, right now, to remember a very simple truth: Most people will spend their whole lives waiting for permission to pursue their true purpose in life… But no one is ever going to give it to you. So you need to give permission to yourself. And once you do, once you get a taste of this type of life, there’s. no. going. back. So please, right now, give yourself permission to go all in. It’s time to fully commit to your purpose. And if I can ever help, whether with coaching or my MasterClasses, always feel free to reach out. And never forget: the best is yet to come.

Just a Few Reasons Israel’s Economy is Worth Watching Right Now (Updated as of October 22, 2025): $11.9B in Tech Investment (YTD Q3 2025) Private tech funding totaled $11.9B through the first three quarters of 2025. This reflects a 13% increase year-over-year despite a sharp decline in the number of deals, as investors concentrate on fewer but larger, more strategic rounds. Investor confidence also fueled a record M&A surge of $71B YTD. Cybersecurity Powerhouse: $32B Wiz Deal + $4B Funding Google’s $32B acquisition of Wiz (signed March 2025, closing expected 2026)—the largest cybersecurity deal ever—plus $4B raised by Israeli cyber firms in 2024 (nearly double 2023's $2.4B, capturing 40% of U.S. private cyber funding), cements Israel’s global cyber leadership. 3.3% GDP Growth Outpaces US, Germany, Japan (2025) Israel’s forecasted 3.3% GDP growth (IMF October 2025) beats the US (1.8%), Germany (0.8%), and Japan (~1.0%), showing robust recovery amid high-tech exports hitting a record 57% of total exports in H1. AI Boom Fuels Jobs: 2.9% Unemployment, ~25% of Startups AI-Focused With unemployment at 2.9% (August 2025, among OECD’s lowest) and ~25% of tech startups AI-dedicated (attracting 47% of investments), Israel’s AI sector is creating jobs, not cutting them. TA-125 Index Up a Crazy 49.8% YoY Outperforming benchmarks like the S&P 500, Israel’s stock market shows crazy strong corporate earnings, with the index at 3,255 points (up 49.8% from October 2024). Shekel Among Top-Performing Currencies The Israeli shekel strengthened ~10% against the USD YTD (from ~3.74 ILS/USD at year-start to 3.30 as of mid-October), ranking among the top-performing global currencies in 2025. Strong Current Account Surplus High-tech exports and disciplined imports position Israel as a low-risk, balanced economy, with a Q2 2025 surplus of $579M and a 20-year average of ~$1.1B annually. Highest OECD Fertility Rate (~2.9) A youthful population drives long-term growth, consumer demand, and entrepreneurial energy, with Israel’s rate at ~2.9 children per woman—nearly double the OECD average of 1.5. This momentum is absolutely wild! #IsraelTech #Investing #VentureCapital #Startups #UPstartups #FinTech #Investment #Investors #AmIsraelHai #Innovation #Economy #AI #Cybersecurity #GlobalBusiness

For years we've been talking about irresponsible behavior in the VC ecosystem -- driving founders to take more money than they need at prices often too aspirational. These overfunded and overvalued companies aren't in a holding pattern for an IPO, they are dying a slow death -- as slow as possible -- so that their investors can keep the marks on their books until they've been able to (hopefully) create liquidity elsewhere and only then break the bad news. LPs suffer, GPs suffer, and just as important, founders and their employees suffer. This cycle of overcapitalization doesn't start at the Series B or Series C -- it often starts at the seed round. Founders should raise what they need, not necessarily what's available. This creates optionality around interim rounds and early exits, should that be the chosen path.

Most people who need a cardiac ultrasound never get one. Not because the technology doesn't exist, but because using it well takes years of training. That's the problem I came on the podcast to talk about. We covered my path from the Weizmann Institute of Science to founding UltraSight, and the question that's driven me the whole way: how do we put cardiac ultrasound in the hands of every clinician who needs it? Thanks for having me on the podcast. It was a really good conversation with Kfir Umansky and Yaarit Adamovich. Link in the first comment if you'd like to listen.

Your phone, your laptop and nearly every digital device you own exist because one Israeli engineer asked a question no one else thought to ask. In the 1980s, computers were advancing fast, but storage was slow, fragile and expensive. Systems depended on bulky magnetic disks that failed easily and couldn’t handle the growing demands of a digital world. At Intel’s Haifa lab, engineer Dov Frohman began searching for something better. He wondered whether a chip could store information even without power, in a compact and durable form. The idea was radical at the time. Many experts dismissed it as impossible. But in 1980, Frohman and his team achieved a breakthrough: electrically erasable programmable read-only memory, or EEPROM. This innovation became the foundation for NAND and NOR flash memory. Flash storage revolutionized everything. It made smartphones, USB drives, digital cameras, solid-state drives and modern computing possible. It made technology smaller, faster and far more reliable. Entire industries rose from a concept once considered unrealistic. Frohman’s invention turned Israel into a global semiconductor powerhouse and changed the way billions of people store, use and share information. Every text message, every photo, every saved file carries a trace of his legacy. Via @Israel on X

AI to AI hiring is here and personal brand just became the moat. In the last year due to me work with GoPerfect I’ve have the pleasure to speak with recruiters across most Israeli startups and many in the US. The growing consensus (and my own view) is that as AI screens AI written resumes, the strongest differentiator won’t be another prompt polished CV. You need to now focus and prioritize your public proof of work. Why this shift? - AI makes paperwork cheap. Degrees, titles, and templated resumes are increasingly poor signals. - What still cuts through: visible output and human story aka your ideas, your craft, your voice. For candidates: your brand is your new GPA. - Ship in public: short posts, blog riffs, demos, dashboards, Looms. - Curate a simple proof hub (Notion/GitHub/Substack) that shows how you think. - Add context: explain why you built something and what changed. - Be someone people want to work with: likable, creative, original, meaning you think beyond the box and show it. - Use AI to accelerate creation, not impersonate you. Authenticity scales while imitation stalls. For recruiters: optimize for signal, not polish. - Ask for artifacts over adjectives. Portfolios, threads, PRDs, code, case write ups. - Score thinking, not theatrics: clarity, rigor, taste, speed, and learning loops. - Let AI triage volume, but let humans hire humans. The AI to AI job market rewards those who show their work in the open. Build a brand that speaks when you’re offline. Trust me, it will open more doors than any AI generated paperwork ever will. Attaching in the comments below a great article on Calcalist כלכליסט that talks about this.

An interesting and thought-provoking read. LeCun’s perspective always forces the industry to rethink its assumptions. Whether or not LLMs are truly a dead end, the shift he’s advocating toward world models is something everyone in AI should pay close attention to.

Ilia Stambler nicely summarizes the importance and potential in the Israeli healthcare system's medical records for conducting a quality research in longevity and age-related diseases. I quote " Israel is a global leader in digitization of health records. Electronic medical records have existed in the Israeli Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO) since the early 1980s, and presently the entire health system in Israel is digitized. This provides unique opportunities for longitudinal data mining to find determinants, risk factors and successful interventions against aging-related diseases and for healthy longevity. Based on this infrastructure, the Israeli government has approved large investments into the national digital personalized health projects aiming to utilize digitized personal health records of all of Israel’s 9 million citizens, with the aim to assist in developing new drugs through big data analysis. " You can read more reasons why it is worth collaborating with the Israeli ecosystem in life-extending research, in the full paper. https://lnkd.in/dsBhmePk In the video a summary of our successful conference Longevity Nation 2024. We’re proud to announce a new strategic collaboration between Buzzy Platform and Medical Center Lev Hasharon Mental Health - one of Israel’s leading government mental health hospitals. Lev Hasharon is a major national psychiatric center serving thousands of patients each year across inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation, and emergency care, and plays a central role in Israel’s public mental-health system. Working within such a large, real-world clinical environment is a significant milestone for Buzzy and a strong validation of both our mission and technology. Lev Hasharon will support clinical experimentation and pilot evaluation of Buzzy’s AI-powered real-time mental health predictive platform, while providing psychiatric oversight and clinical guidance to ensure alignment with real-world workflows and regulatory standards. Together, we will examine how continuous physiological monitoring can enable early detection of emotional escalation, risk prediction for acute episodes, and smarter patient prioritization. Beyond detection and early intervention, this collaboration will also focus on measuring the effectiveness of clinical responses over time. Since patients remain continuously monitored after intervention, Buzzy’s algorithms can evaluate which treatments actually worked, for whom, and in what scenarios; and continuously learn from new data. This creates a dynamic clinical feedback loop that generates statistically-driven, personalized recommendations, helping clinicians optimize future care decisions based on real-world evidence. This partnership reflects exactly why we built Buzzy: To transform mental health care beyond subjective snapshots - into continuous, data-driven, predictive intelligence that improves accuracy, outcomes, and clinical efficiency at scale. Onward to turning deep tech into real-world impact 💙

🚀 Startup: Novee Security Founders: Ido Geffen — Co-Founder & CEO Gon Chalamish — Co-Founder & CPO Omer Ninburg — Co-Founder & CTO Founded: May 2025 Headquarters: Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel + New York, USA Sector: AI-Powered Offensive Security / Cybersecurity 🧠 What Problem They Solve Modern cybersecurity faces a gap: attackers are increasingly automated and AI-driven, probing systems constantly, while most defenses rely on episodic or manual penetration testing that happens far too infrequently. Traditional tools often fail to detect complex business-logic vulnerabilities buried in dynamic production environments. >Novee’s AI platform addresses this by: ●Providing continuous penetration testing that mimics real attacker behavior. ●Automatically identifying and validating novel security vulnerabilities. ●Running end-to-end analysis from exploit detection to automated retesting of fixes. ●As co-founder Ido Geffen has said, “Attackers don’t wait for your annual pentest, and neither should your defense.” 🌟 What’s Unique About Novee: 🔹 AI-Driven Offensive Security ●Instead of static scanning tools, Novee’s system thinks like a real hacker, simulating sophisticated attack paths that uncover vulnerabilities traditional tools miss. 🔹 Proprietary, Purpose-Built AI ●Their AI models are specifically trained on offensive security data — not just generic LLMs — leading to high accuracy (up to ~90% in tests vs ~65% for general models). This allows detection of deeper logic flaws and exploitation opportunities. 🔹 Rapid Funding & Market Confidence ●Just four months after founding, Novee raised $51.5 M in combined Seed + Series A funding. Investors include YL Ventures, Canaan Partners, and Zeev Ventures, underscoring strong belief in their disruptive approach to security. 🔹 Elite Team ●Founders are veterans from Israel’s premier cyber units (Unit 8200, Talpiot, national cyber defense teams) with deep experience in offensive and defensive cybersecurity. 🔹 Real-World Traction ●Their platform is already gaining interest from enterprises across industries that need continuous defense against automated threats. Cybersecurity today is an AI arms race. Attackers already operate at machine speed — Novee’s launch shows how defensive tools must evolve accordingly, using AI to behave like attackers so defenses are proactive, not reactive. #AI #Cybersecurity #OffensiveSecurity #TechInnovation #Startups #FounderInsights #EnterpriseAI #AgencyGrowth #Entrepreneurs #owners
