Can I delete the pre-loaded Dropbox app on Android?

It is not currently possible to uninstall the Dropbox application from your Android device if it came pre-loaded. However, you can disable it.

How to disable the Dropbox app on Android devices

To disable the Dropbox app, please first uninstall all updates:

1. Go to your device's Settings menu.
2. Tap Apps, and then locate the Dropbox app.
3. Choose Uninstall Updates.

Once you've finished uninstalling updates, you can disable the app itself:

1. Return to the Settings menu.
2. Locate the Dropbox app.
3. Select Disable.
