Backend engineer focused on building tools that stay out of your way. I mostly work on CLI utilities, automation pipelines, and the kind of infrastructure glue that nobody notices until it breaks.
Tech I reach for:
- Go (primary)
- Python (scripting, quick tooling)
- Shell (because sometimes that's all you need)
- Docker, Linux, a terminal that's been configured too many times
What I'm working on:
Mostly internal tooling and some open-source CLI experiments. Nothing flashy — stuff that solves a specific problem and does it well.
A few things I care about:
- Fast feedback loops
- Tools that have good
--helpoutput - Not over-engineering things
