Hi everyone,

I am trying to get the Github student's developer package, in the billing information should I put my house address or my school address, also my school is currently closed due to summer vacations so will my application get rejected if I apply from home?

You should use your home address in the billing information unless GitHub specifically tells you to use your school's address.

The billing address is meant to identify you, not your school. It should normally match your personal residence (or the address associated with your payment method, if applicable).
A school address is only relevant if a form explicitly asks for your institution's address.
Regarding your school being closed for summer vacation:
No, your application should not be rejected just because the campus is closed.
GitHub verifies your student status using the documents or verification method you provide—not whether someone is physically present at the school.
If your school email is enough for automatic verification, you're fine.
If manual verification is required, you may need to upload proof such as:
A current student ID card.
A current enrollment certificate.
A recent fee receipt or transcript showing your name, school, and current academic term.
As long as your documents show that you're currently enrolled, applying from home during summer break is completely normal.

For the billing address, you should generally use the address that matches your payment or billing information (if applicable), not necessarily your school's address. It doesn't have to be your campus address just because you're applying for the Student Developer Pack.

Applying from home during summer vacation should not, by itself, cause your application to be rejected. GitHub verifies your student status based on the information and documentation you provide, not your current physical location.

If your school email or student ID is still valid and you can provide any required proof of enrollment, you should be able to apply even while your school is closed for the holidays.
