Copilot Education Premium Requests Not Resetting on January 1

Hello GitHub Support Team,

I am using GitHub Copilot under the Education benefits plan, where the premium requests are supposed to reset on the 1st of every month.

In December, I used my Copilot premium requests as expected. However, when I logged in on January 1, instead of seeing a reset for January, Copilot shows that my next reset will occur on February 1, 2026.

This effectively skips the entire month of January, and I am unable to understand where this one month of entitlement has gone.

Could you please clarify:

Why the January reset did not occur?

Whether this is a system bug or an account-specific issue

And if possible, restore the missing January premium requests

I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue, as the education benefit is essential for my studies.

Thank you for the response. However, I’d like to clarify that the issue is still not resolved.

My GitHub Copilot Education premium requests did not reset on January 1 and currently show the next reset as February 1, 2026, which means the entire month of January is missing.

Since this problem is ongoing, could you please advise what steps I should take next to get this fixed?
If this requires opening a separate support or billing ticket, please let me know the correct process or channel.
