Thanks for posting in the GitHub Community, @sudaisnadeemhere - we’re glad you’re here! Just a quick note: you’re more likely to get a useful response when posting in the applicable category. The Discussions category is specifically for conversations around the GitHub product Discussions. Since your question is about earning badges, it belongs in the Also, as an FYI: because of an influx of low-quality or spam posts created only to farm Achievements, we’ve disabled the ability to earn Achievements in our Community. This doesn’t affect badges in other GitHub projects - only here in Community Discussions. You can read more about that decision in our announcement: Achievements will no longer be available in the Community. Let us know if you have any other questions 🚀 |

Step-by-Step Guide to Earn Galaxy brain badge... Find Eligible Repos: Search GitHub for public repos with Discussions enabled. Look for the "Discussions" tab. Great starters: Spot Open Questions: Browse Q&A discussions needing help (e.g., bugs, "how-to" queries). Avoid closed/answered ones. Get It Accepted: Politely ask the author to mark it if helpful (e.g., "Let me know if this solves it!"). It must be them (not you) marking it. |

You need to provide consistently helpful answers in public repository discussions, getting your replies marked as the "Accepted Answer" by the original poster or a maintainer, starting with at least two accepted answers. |
