Hastily done as an exercise to learn FFmpeg API in December last year, but put aside because of different priorities. Things to do:

  • Clean this up
  • Commit properly
  • Update copyright headers for 2019 to 2023
  • Test using the files and expected output that we already have for other importers
  • Document the zoo of supported file formats
  • Set up the CIs for it

What about video?
