What specific section or headline is this issue about?

What information was incorrect, unhelpful, or incomplete?

sourceElement is also null when the initiating element is in a cross-origin document. It would be worth noting that the way Window.frameElement and HTMLIFrameElement.contentDocument do.

I'd like to work on this once it's triaged. I would add the cross-origin null case to the sourceElement value description, checking it against the linked WPT and whatwg/html#13090. Is this available for a community contribution, and could you assign it to me after review? I'll wait for triage before opening a PR.

Just fixed in FF 160. Perhaps @mdn/content-team @mdn/contractors this should be a release task.

Hi! I'm interested in making this documentation improvement as my first contribution to MDN. I noticed that someone has already expressed interest in working on this issue. Is this still available for another contributor, or should I look for a different issue? Thanks!
