Hi there, I’m Julia Leonardi. 👋

🛰️ PhD Candidate @ PoliMi | Geospatial Data Scientist

I am a researcher and developer standing at the intersection of Environmental Science and Artificial Intelligence. My work focuses on applying Computer Vision and Machine Learning to complex geospatial data to better understand our changing planet.

🔭 What I'm Working On

I am a PhD Candidate at Politecnico di Milano, researching the convergence of Geoinformatics and AI.

My current work focuses on Geospatial Foundation Models, specifically investigating how to integrate complex hyperspectral data to enhance environmental understanding and monitoring.

My Mission: Leveraging advanced data science methods to analyse environmental issues and climate change.

My Focus: Satellite imagery analysis, remote sensing pipelines, and predictive environmental modelling.

My Goal: To build open-source tools that make geospatial data more accessible and actionable.

🛠️ Tech Stack
