Hi, I'm James Ryan V. Dela Cruz

AI Engineer with around six years of experience building and shipping production software, the last few focused on LLM applications.
I design retrieval augmented generation pipelines, build AI agents and automated workflows that handle multi step tasks, and integrate generative AI into existing products without breaking what already works.
Most of my recent work has been in healthcare, fintech and billing, where accuracy and traceability matter, so I care a lot about evaluation, guardrails, and keeping cost and latency under control.

🤖 Build agentic workflows with tool calling and safe rollout patterns
🔎 Design RAG layers that give grounded, cited answers
📊 Put real evaluation in place — labeled regression sets, automated scoring in CI
⚡ Tune retrieval, caching, and model routing to cut latency and spend
🚢 Own features from prototype through deployment and on-call support

Always open to collaborating on meaningful projects and building great products.
