Input audio latency test fails with "WARNING: No sound detected"#30

Tested on Nvidia Shield K1 build MRA58K

Steps to repro

  • Connect Android device to WALT
  • Run app and tap 'Audio latency'
  • Tap the microphone icon

Expected result:

  • Input latency test is run

Actual result

  • The following message is displayed: WARNING: No sound detected

    I can't reproduce the issue. Can you do the following steps please:

    1. Connect the tablet to a computer
    2. Run 'adb logcat -c'
    3. Connect to the WALT
    4. Attempt to run the test
    5. Connect to a computer again
    6. Run 'adb logcat -d > log.txt'
    7. Attach log.txt here or send it to me in some other way

    It would also be good to verify if the tablet detecs WALT as a microphone.
    Connect WALT, kill the WALT app, record some sound as if you were recording from built-in mic. Check if the sound gets recorded. If yes, we have a problem with how we prtend being a microphone.
