Hey, I'm Boris 🚶

I'm usually somewhere in northern South Asia, walking amongst the big mountains!

I try and work as little as possible cause life's too short to spend it in front of a screen. Having said that, I do have bursts of insanity where I spend countless hours working, usually on my own little projects.

Here's a short list of what I built for my personal blog:

• A server-side only analytics engine built on top of timescaledb
• A newsletter block-editor built on Filament and Maizzle
• A geometry editor component for Filament using mapbox-gl-draw
• An importer in PHP for various GIS formats, like GeoJson, FIT, GPX, GeoPackage, Geobuf, FlatGeobuf, plus like 10 more formats!
• Sophisticated shapefile importers to populate PostGIS-enabled database tables, like timezones, provinces and countries!
• Various directive extensions for thephpleague/commonmark
