Please add an option to open a blank sketch at startup instead of restoring the sketches from the previous session.
Describe the current behavior
Currently, when Arduino IDE is started, the sketches that were open at the time the previous session was exited are automatically opened.

I teach in a computer lab with shared computers and students are always forgetting to open a new sketch and are overwriting the previous student's work. Thank you!
