About

I work across systems programming, developer tooling, and full-stack applications. I like understanding software from the inside out, then using that knowledge to make tools that are efficient, practical, and straightforward to use.

My projects range from a programming language and an operating system to desktop utilities, databases, and performance tools. I'm also building with Undrocs.

Selected work

Gable
An experimental, statically typed programming language with a native compilation pipeline and an emphasis on approachable syntax.

C++ · Compilers · Pre-1.0

SYPAS
An operating system built from scratch, with a custom UEFI bootloader, boot protocol, and x86-64 kernel. Early development.

C · Assembly · OS development

Riftmap
A local-first codebase explorer for analyzing repository structure, dependencies, complexity, and maintenance hotspots.

Zig · TypeScript · React · Electron

SQLite Clone
A from-scratch embedded database engine with SQL parsing, B-Tree storage, indexing, and transaction support.

C++20 · Databases · Storage engines

Smart File Organizer
A local-first file organization tool with dry-run previews, conflict handling, and undo support.

Python · Filesystems · Automation

Wiremark
An HTTP benchmarking CLI for measuring latency, throughput, and failure rates, with endpoint comparisons and reports.

Go · HTTP · Performance

Ro-Physics
A 2D rigid-body physics engine featuring collision detection, constraints, continuous collision detection, and spatial queries.

What matters in my work

  • Useful before impressive. Clear workflows, sensible defaults, and features that solve a real problem.
  • Understand the internals. Learn by implementing the underlying systems, not only by using existing abstractions.
  • Build with care. Testing, performance, security, and maintainability belong in the development process.
