Hey — I'm Alex. I build mobile apps and the machinery behind them, mostly from a desk in Tbilisi 🇬🇪.

iOS is home base. 4+ years of Swift in production. I built the entire iOS infrastructure for a high-traffic casino platform from an empty repo — real money on the line, real-time updates, zero tolerance for downtime — and led the devs who kept it running. I care about the parts users never notice: crash-free sessions, real-time that's actually real-time, and builds that don't fall over on a Friday.

The rest of the time I run my own things. I founded SnapAPI — a screenshot / PDF / web-extraction API that other developers build on — and I take bespoke optimization work: walk into a business, find where it bleeds time or money, and write the software that stops it. Right now I'm learning Rust, mostly because I like problems that bite back.

4+ years production iOS · 20+ apps shipped · 1M+ users reached · 99.7% crash-free

what i build

  • SnapAPI — my product. A screenshot/PDF/extraction API with client SDKs in a stack of languages, so any dev can drop it in without running a headless browser themselves.
  • Casino platform — iOS infrastructure — built and led the iOS side of a high-traffic iGaming platform end to end: architecture, real-time sync, money flows, release pipeline.
  • A ton of mobile apps across four companies — over the years I've shipped iOS apps for just about every goal there is: fintech, e-commerce, social, streaming, health, productivity, on-demand, gaming. Different domains, same bar for quality — clean architecture, real tests, no flaky releases.
  • DocForge — a document-generation SaaS. The unglamorous kind of problem nobody wants to touch, which is exactly why it makes a decent business.
  • Optimization systems for clients — custom automations and internal tools that quietly make a business run leaner. No two are the same.
  • A pile of Telegram bots & smaller tools — the fastest way I know to actually learn a stack is to ship something annoying in it.

Swift is home. Everything else I picked up because shipping a whole product means writing all of it — not just the pretty part.

off the clock

Deep in Warhammer 40K — more the lore than the tabletop; I'll happily lose an evening to the Horus Heresy and argue the finer points of the Imperium. I run a 3D printer to make the models myself, sink real hours into video games, and score most of it with death metal and hardcore punk loud enough to annoy the neighbours. Grimdark universes, over-engineered systems, fast guitars — turns out it's all the same itch as software architecture. ⚔️🤘
