Slim Material 3 Header: Rebuilt the top navigation into a slim 56dp TopAppBar featuring direct widget switching on the left and an expandable search icon button on the right.
Auto-Hiding Scroll: The header and search bar seamlessly auto-hide on scroll down and re-appear on scroll up with snap animations, giving full focus to settings.
Status Bar Protection: Applied system window insets and surface scrimming to prevent scrolling cards from bleeding under the transparent status bar icons.
Persistent Preview: The live widget preview remains pinned cleanly above the category selector tabs.

Reboot Resilience: Fixed pedometer reset issues across device reboots by dynamically recalculating baseline step deltas.
Decoupled Notification Permission: On Android 13+, denying notification permission no longer disables the step counter - the foreground service runs reliably in the background without cluttering your notification shade.
Live Step Notification: The ongoing service notification now dynamically displays your real-time daily step count (e.g., "4,520 steps today") alongside widget updates.
Independent Keep Alive: Keep Alive now runs without requiring physical activity sensor permissions.

Binder IPC Reduction: Cached package launch intent lookups, eliminating repeated system service IPC round-trips.
