In collaboration with STEM TALENT GIRL, we recently supported the “STEM for Good” Hackathon across Spain – including Camarma, Valencia and Valladolid – welcoming students to tackle real operational challenges inspired by our plants. Working in varied, mentored teams, participants stepped into our environments and applied design thinking to topics ranging from improving raw material tracking to reimagining internal logistics and strengthening communication flows. In just a few hours, they moved from problem understanding to creative solutions and final pitches. The energy, collaboration and quality of ideas impressed across all locations –⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠ so much so that every team was recognized as a winner. Together with social enterprise Kokoza, our Colorful Communities® program has transformed an underused space in Prague, Czech Republic, into Velký Háj –⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠ the city’s largest community garden.
